Model United Nations Conference

Date : 26th September 2013
Venue : United World College, Singapore

With the club’s formation late last year, Sunway’s Model United Nation Club’s members were understandably nervous attending their very first conference. Over 80 countries were represented by 250 delegates from schools all over South East Asia. The members’ incessant worrying and hours of preparation were worth it, as the members immersed themselves fully in three days of intense debate, stimulating conversation and engaging dialogue over critical world issues with like-minded peers. Having had a taste of the excitement from their first conference, the students returned with great memories and steely motivation to excel at their next conference with a bigger, better prepared delegation to make SIS proud.
